What are the benefits of BCY 452X bow string material?
We offer a wide range of bow string material options to cater to each archer’s individual preferences. We generally recommend BCY 452X to those who aren’t sure which material to choose. It’s a well-rounded material that offers an optimal combination of speed, reliability, and stability.
How do I know if I need to replace my bow string?
Frequent shooters should replace their strings and cables at least every two years. If the performance of your bow is suffering, you’re probably overdue for a PSE compound bow string replacement. Even if your bow seems to be performing well, it’s important to replace your strings and cables for safety reasons.
Check for abnormalities, such as severe fuzziness, dryness, brittleness, inconsistent tension, or flat or squashed sections. Look for signs of damage, no matter how small, such as cuts, nicks, fraying, unraveling, or separating from the serving. Listen for unusual snapping, clicking, or popping noises.
