Which compound bow press should I choose?
You can’t go wrong with anything from Last Chance Archery, so it all comes down to your personal preferences and requirements.
The EZ Green press is the most popular, straightforward, and economical model and should meet the needs of most archers. Other models have extra features, such as adjustable legs, handwheels instead of standard hand cranks, and additional axis adjustments for working on different types of bows in various positions.

What does a compound bow press do?
Archery presses are multi-purpose tools that make it significantly easier to work on your equipment. Their primary purpose is to hold the bow securely in place while you work and compress the bow’s limbs, which removes tension from the string and cables.
In addition to using it to change strings and cables, your press will help when you’re synchronizing the cam system, installing or adjusting peep sights, modifying the draw length, aligning limbs, replacing cam wheels, adding string dampeners, and virtually any other task you can imagine. In short, it is a purpose-designed platform for working on bows.
How long does shipping take when ordering an archery press from 60X?
We keep the standard EZ Green press in stock, so it should ship either the same or the next business day. Other models ship directly from LCA, so there might be a longer lead time, which is typically three weeks or so.
Will my compound bow be compatible with the EZ Green?
Yes, the EZ green is compatible with every compound bow. That’s one of many reasons why it’s one of the best bow press options. However, additional adapters from LCA will be required to use the EZ Green with the following bow makes and models:
- Athens: Peak 38 and Vista 31, 33, and 35
- Bear: Carnage and Attack
- Elite: Option 6 and 7, Onia, Envision, and Ritual 30
- Hoyt: Ventum, Double XL, Hyper Edge, and Defiant
- PSE: Stealth Mach 1 and any OMEN model
